Consumer Protection Rights

This warranty is a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty. It grants additional rights beyond the statutory consumer and warranty rights, which are not restricted by this warranty. If a product is defective, consumers may still exercise their statutory rights under §§ 434 ff., §§ 474 ff. BGB free of charge.

Products and Personal Scope of Application

This warranty applies worldwide to all Anschütz Optics products that you have purchased as a consumer and as new goods. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser named on the purchase receipt.

Scope of the Warranty

We provide a 10-year warranty on the optics and mechanics of all products, excluding, for example, ring mounts, reflex sights, rangefinders, and other predominantly electronic devices. For these items, we grant a 2-year warranty.

The warranty is valid from the date of purchase under the following conditions:

In the event of defects caused by material or manufacturing faults, we will cover the material costs within the warranty period. We reserve the right to repair, service, or replace the product or defective components at our discretion. In the case of changes to the product range or adjustments affecting the availability of currently offered products, we reserve the right to repair defective products or replace them with equivalent models.

Exclusion of Warranty

Anschütz Optics does not provide a warranty for damages caused by improper use, incorrect operation, negligence, accidents, or any other intervention in the product by unauthorized persons.

The warranty also becomes void if damage is caused by the use of attachments or accessories that are not approved. Furthermore, all parts subject to natural wear and tear are excluded from the warranty, such as carrying straps, eyecups, protective caps, rubber parts, batteries, cleaning cloths, etc.

Claims Procedure

In the event of a warranty claim, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your Anschütz Optics product, or contact us directly with the relevant documents.

Warranty services can only be provided if you, as the original purchaser, have a valid proof of purchase/invoice with the purchase date. Products without proof of purchase cannot be covered under this warranty. In such cases, we will prepare a cost estimate and send it to you for approval of repair.

For shipments from abroad or non-European countries, the sender is responsible for proper import handling regarding customs duties or taxes.

The sender bears the shipping costs, especially postage and freight charges.
